FLIR thermal cameras are excellent for inspecting stucco siding by revealing hidden issues like missing insulation, air leaks, moisture intrusion, and even pest nests through temperature differences (hot/cold spots show as colors)
We partner with home inspectors, but also work with individual homeowners, realtors, electricians, or whomever else may need our thermal inspection services.
What our thermal inspections reveal in stucco & siding:
- Missing Insulation: Cold spots (blues/purples) show gaps where heat escapes in winter or enters in summer.
- Air Leaks: Reveals drafts around windows, doors, or structural gaps.
- Moisture/Water Intrusion: Damp areas often appear cooler or have different thermal patterns than dry areas, crucial for detecting leaks behind stucco.
- Pest Activity: Active termite nests or other pests generate heat, appearing as warm spots.
